Yamaha Sean

This is Yamaha Sean. A ridier after my own heart. Ride in a cruzy manner, take piccies and chill. A more than welcome addition to the Wombat crew.
Sean rides a Yammie 400, I'm sorry but details escape me.

Pat Mac

After 4 years of convincing Pat finally buys a bike, with less than 12 hours to go before the jirisan ride. He makes it, and after 15 years of non bike ownership rides 2 straight days like a champ.
Pat rides a libido-invigorating 125 Daelim (Liquid Hot) Magma.

Mr. Phweep

This is our mascot: "Mr. Phweep The Farting Wombat!"

Ben and Seong-heui 'Parky' Anderson

Parky and I are the co-founders of Wombat Corea and we are simply chuffed with how great everything has travelled so far.
We ride our 1996 Honda Magna 750 V4.

Sean and Dennis

Embryonic from my head into Parky's, gestated in consecutive discussions with mum and dad in Gangwondo, Wombat Corea was born from these heads, not far from that river on that very day. Sean has been instrumental in the organisation of the club and tries (with varying degrees of success) to get us all together in the same place at the same time and riding merrily. Dennis (the not bald dude) is like Wombat Corea's Father Time. Always there, ticking along, rarely seen or heard but bringing clarity of thought to all facets of touring as he beats down the track in a suprisingly consistent manner on his Daelim 125. Sean (the bald due) rides a disturbingly clean, neat and sweet 4 cylinder Honda Magna 750.

Stacey and Rick 'Iceman' Gould

Iceman and Stacey made their first ever telephone contact with us at 7:15am on the morning of our inaugural Tongyeong ride. They were an hour's drive away in Haeundae when we first spoke, that ride left Gimhae basically on schedule at 8:20am.
The Iceman rides what is quite possibly the loudest and sexiest Suzuki Intruder 1400 in Asia. Stacey rides on back and carries charm by the bucketload.

Bill and Lisa

Bill and lisa have been riding with us from day dot and provide a wealth of information to anyone doing any riding in Corea south of the Gangwon border. Between them they are a veritable atlas of Corea's tiny, tertiary and as yet undiscovered scenic routes. Bill rides a Honda Steed 400 and Lisa (now) rides a Honda CB 400.

George and Marina

George and Marina were two very welcome newbies on our Jirisan ride. They ride an impressive 1998 Susuki Katana.

David 'Aussie Dave' Nebauer

This is Aussie Dave and his resplendent Frankenbike (or Frankencycle if you wish). This bike is just impossible to accurately describe, I believe it began life a a Daelim CruiseII 125, but it is now a veritable mosaic of various Honda, Daelim and Hyosung odds and ends.

Bill and Heather Anderson

My mum and dad are honorary members of Wombat Corea. Although they have not ridden with us together as a group, Parky and I did a lot of riding with them in Gangwondo in late 2005. They were both present, if not for conception, then at least for the idea-in-embryo of Wombat Corea and had lots of usefull ideas and suggestions for its formation, not the least of which being the acronym Weiguks On Motorcycles; Busted Arse Tours). Dad was the official discoverer of the Wombat Corea logo "Mr. Pwheep" on the side of my fridge in Gangneung (it is the slightly mouldy remnants of a poorly removed food delivery menu). We say discoverer, rather than creator because it is still exactly as it was then. Unmolested with the exception of a single dot for an eye and the obvious handwriting on the side of the fridge. We look forward to their first anticipated ride in April 2007.
Dad rides a BMW R1150RS and mum doesn't really ride at all, but I can say with absolute certainty that her favourite bike that she has ever ridden is a Hyosung Mirage 125cc v-twin (No, I'm not joking. It was a bloody good bike and moreover it was singlehandedly responsible for bringing both of them back into the fold. You go! Mirage Riders!!)
