My mum and dad are honorary members of Wombat Corea. Although they have not ridden with us together as a group, Parky and I did a lot of riding with them in Gangwondo in late 2005. They were both present, if not for conception, then at least for the idea-in-embryo of Wombat Corea and had lots of usefull ideas and suggestions for its formation, not the least of which being the acronym Weiguks On Motorcycles; Busted Arse Tours). Dad was the official discoverer of the Wombat Corea logo "Mr. Pwheep" on the side of my fridge in Gangneung (it is the slightly mouldy remnants of a poorly removed food delivery menu). We say discoverer, rather than creator because it is still exactly as it was then. Unmolested with the exception of a single dot for an eye and the obvious handwriting on the side of the fridge. We look forward to their first anticipated ride in April 2007.
Dad rides a BMW R1150RS and mum doesn't really ride at all, but I can say with absolute certainty that her favourite bike that she has ever ridden is a Hyosung Mirage 125cc v-twin (No, I'm not joking. It was a bloody good bike and moreover it was singlehandedly responsible for bringing both of them back into the fold. You go! Mirage Riders!!)
